Every website has a list of rules. This is our's.
- Your registration email must be valid. Simple as that. Register with your own email that you can check regularly.
- Behave. Simply put. No cheating, flaming, bullying or the like. Anyone caught doing any of these or anything else that is common sense not to do will be punished with either being suspended or even banned. No exceptions.
- Equality. If you've been here a week or a year. Whether you are a new member or a staff member. You'll be given equal treatment. Simply put. On an OOC standpoint, you are all humans. You'll be treated as such.
- Be respectful. See the former rule. We're all people here to have fun. Respect each other for it. If a staff member says something. Listen. If you don't like it? Message the administrator and it will be brought to private and settled. There should never, for any reason, be any excuse for blow ups and the like on the forums. Respect the other members and the staff and they will all respect you in return.
- This site is PG 13. Simple as that. Keep the cursing down and absolutely no sexual or 'brutal' content will be allowed. It's understood there is a market for things about the PG 13 rating, but keep it private folks. We don't want to read about your characters overly personal affairs or anything bloody/gorey. As for cursing, some is allowed. But keep it in check.
- Grammar is highly recommended. No 'chat speak' or the like within posts is a requirement. Please take time on your spelling and grammar, it makes your work much more pleasing to read. We're writing a story, not text messages.
- Post limit? Currently, the staff is not going to 'enforce' a minimum sentence limit for IC posts. But more than 5 sentences shouldn't be hard to pull off. Anything under this for long periods of time may end up in a minimum limit being applied. Quality quickly fills up a post well past this limit and most of the time far exceeds it. Adding in some detail or observational value can also make the experience more fun for both the reader and the writer.
- Last but not least. No god-modding, cheating, bribing, bullying etc. to get ahead ICly. Everyone is going to start from scratch and bite and claw their way up. In character, feel free to be a cheat or the like, as long as it fits the confines of your character and are willing to deal with the consequences if caught. But OOCly? No. This will not be tolerated and could end up in a ban from the website. It's not fun working hard for what you get and someone else taking the easy road and ruining it for everyone else. Have fun, simple as that. The more you RP, the more you move up in the world.
